Kathryn Skaggs has very personal and specific goals, with how she spends her time online and exactly how she plans on accomplishing these goals. Most often, when you come in contact with Kathryn online, and one of her various Internet “projects” - her signature will be accompanied with the acronym of “tDMg”.
Kathryn’s goal, is “to DO MORE good” in everything and everywhere that she can be found on the Internet.
“I have seen the negative impact that so many comments, blogs and websites can have on the LDS faith. My initial involvement online, had a lot to do with standing up and speaking up to defend Mormonism online. I eventually decided, that unless I had something to say, that would DO More Good — then I would not say it, or do it. Whatever I am engaged with on the Internet, my desire is to have taught something, or provided information that would DO MORE good, than if I had never become involved. When I leave my signature “tDMg” anywhere online… it is my hope, that I have done just that… to DO MORE Good in helping to build the Kingdom of God on earth. “
The inspiration to utilized this acronym, to remind her always, of her personal mission to share the gospel and be a positive influence for good, came from Richard K. Miller, of The More Good Foundation. Kathryn desired to join other LDS members, and become more involved with helping to promote goodwill toward The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints; and provide relevant and credible information about Mormonism. Kathryn Skaggs is currently a Senior Member at LDS.net - better known as LdsNana — and enjoys very much her involvement with this LDS online community.
